ELS/Cleveland está ubicado en el campus de la Case Western Reserve University (Case), clasificada por la revista U.S. News & World Report entre las mejores 50 universidades nacionales. Local attractions and areas of interest
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum: Designed in 1994 by renowned architect, I. M. Pei, this 150,000 square foot structure hosts between 1000 and 9000 visitors a day! Get to know your favorite rock and rollers through "rockumentaries," touch interactive exhibits, and travel down memory lane! The museum is open almost every day of the year. Right next door, you can find the Great Lakes Science Center in combination with its OMNIMAX® Theater.
Cedar Point: Located in nearby Sandusky, this amusement park features over 12 thrilling roller coasters, 56 rides, games, musical shows, campgrounds and a beach. This park was voted #1 Amusement Park in the World by Inside Track, a newspaper for amusement park fans! Enjoy a summer of fun and relaxation!
Amish Community: Avoiding most modern conveniences such as electricity, automobiles, and TV, the Amish people live simple agricultural lives. Their homes are lighted with kerosene lanterns and they use wood for cooking and heating. A horse and buggy replace the family car. Enjoy an auction and flea market and eat a traditional Amish meal at Mary Yoder's restaurant! Taste a bit of Americana!
The Cleveland Museum of Art: Known as one of the top art museums in the world, this museum's collection represents all cultures and periods, with a special emphasis on Asian and Medieval European art. It is located in University Circle, the cultural heart of Cleveland.
The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and Rainforest: One of the first zoos built in the U.S., it features over 3,300 animals in their natural landscape. It is a dynamic arena with some of the most exciting exhibits, including Wolf Wilderness and The Rainforest. Make a day of it!
The Flats: Located on both sides of the Cuyahoga River, it is divided into the East and West Banks. Visitors will find restaurants, outdoor concert facilities, comedy clubs, water taxis, jazz and blues clubs, and, of course, lots of dance clubs!

Accommodations: Campus residence hall accommodations are limited single or double-occupancy rooms with both sleeping and study facilities. Linens are provided. Bathrooms are shared. There is a kitchen, TV lounge areas and laundry facilities in the campus residence hall.
Check-in Time: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Check-out Time: 10 a.m. (Saturday)
Dormitory Security: Students gain access to their dormitory building using their university ID card. The campus has its own security force which patrols the campus. A campus escort service is available for extra security if the student is walking across the campus late at night.
Telephone Service: Telephones are provided in each suite and local and incoming calls are free. Calling cards must be used for long-distance calls.
Resident Assistant: One for each floor (approximately 30 students)
Laundry Facilities: Self-service machines are available in the same dormitory building for a small fee.

Accommodations: Homestay accommodations offer private room lodging with an American host. A continental breakfast and a prepared dinner are provided daily. To guarantee a homestay for your first session of attendance, advance reservations are required.
Check-in Time: Students should arrive between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. at their homestay on the Sunday before their session begins.
Check-out Time: 10 a.m. (Saturday)
Transportation: Host family students are responsible for their personal transportation. Most students use the bus and train to come to campus.
Travel Time: Most families are located 20 minutes from the ELS Center (and nearly all are less than 35 minutes). There are NO families within walking distance of the campus.
Minimum Age: 15
Meals: 15 per week.
